HEY, IT'S KARI...

I understand the worry of ageing with back pain or hip issues ,I’ve been there! My journey with back pain began at 15, and it worsened in 2000 when my back gave out on a busy London street. In 2001, my physiotherapist recommended Pilates to strengthen my core, and it changed everything. 

After becoming a mom in 2003, my back issues flared up again, leading to surgery for two prolapsed discs. However, it wasn’t until I found a fantastic Pilates teacher in 2005 that I truly regained control over my back pain. 

This inspired me to turn my Pilates practice into a profession, leading to the creation of Core Strength Pilates in 2015. With over 20 years of experience, I’m dedicated to helping others stay strong, happy, and pain-free through regular, technical, and varied Pilates classes.

As well as over 20 years of regular Pilates practice and over teaching since 2015, I have the following qualifications:

  • 2015: Body Control Pilates, Level 3 Mat

  • 2015: Body Control Pilates, Level 4 Movement

  • 2016: Body Control Pilates, Pilates for the Older Person

  • 2016 - 2017: Four Cobham Pilates Continuing Education certificates: stretch bands, magic circle, balls and circuits

  • 2023: Body Control Pilates, Pilates and Pregnancy 1&2

  • 2024: Body Control Pilates, Matwork Certification Update

  • 2024: Exploring the Lumbo-Pelvic-Hip Workshop

Who is this Membership For?

This membership is perfect for those who have completed my Pilates Foundation Course or have practiced Pilates before, whether you’re returning after a break or regularly practicing at an intermediate to advanced level. It’s ideal for anyone looking to continue growing their strength, mobility, and overall Pilates journey, including those who have been practicing for years.

 

Who is this Membership NOT For?

Please note that this membership is NOT suitable for individuals who are:

  • Pregnant or up to 6 months postpartum

  • Diagnosed with osteoporosis

  • Managing uncontrolled high blood pressure or heart conditions

  • Recovering from recent surgery or significant joint issues

If you’re unsure about whether this membership is right for you, or you would like to discuss your medical conditions or explore accommodations, you can book a 50-minute consultation. During this session, we’ll address your concerns, discuss modifications, and ensure you feel confident and supported in your Pilates practice.
