I'M KARI.
I’m in my early 50s, a certified Body Control Pilates teacher for over a decade, with more than 25 years of consistent Pilates practice. It’s what keeps me strong and mobile for the sports, gardening, travel, and dancing I love.
As a Pilates teacher, mom, and someone who calls both the UK and US home, I’ve also lived with back pain since my teens and had a double discectomy at 31 - so I understand what it’s like to live in a body that’s been through injury, surgery, and the natural changes that come with age. Pilates gave me the tools to move smarter, adapt my daily habits, and build the strength, mobility, and confidence to keep doing what I love, all without needing to slow down.
I created this course to help others feel that same shift I’ve experienced myself and witnessed in my studio year after year: the moment the foundations of Pilates click, movement makes sense, and you start to feel the difference in your body. That’s when your confidence grows.
