The Core Start: A 4-Day Beginner’s Pilates Challenge

Build the strength, skill, and understanding to begin your Pilates journey with clarity and confidence.

January 12-16 from 12-12:30pm EST/5-5:30pm London

Your body isn’t slowing down, it’s asking for a better approach.

This challenge is for you if:

  • You’ve been curious about Pilates, but never felt confident joining a class

  • You’ve tried “beginner” sessions online, but left feeling unsure or unsupported

  • You want to understand the why, not just follow along

  • You’re 45+ and want clear, safe guidance that builds strength, mobility, and balance that lasts,  not just quick fixes.

  • You’re ready to start strong with a foundation that makes sense in your body

What You’ll Experience Over 4 Days

Day 1:  Learn the Principles. Feel the Difference.

Discover what Pilates actually is and how posture, breath, and alignment work together to create strength, control and awareness. We start in standing to build awareness from the ground up.

Day 2:  Build Calm, Controlled Foundations

Set up the foundational “relaxation position” on the mat, where deep core connection begins. You’ll learn how to breathe effectively, articulate your spine with control, and explore some of my favorite Pilates movements to support your back.

Day 3:  Understand and Activate Your Core

Go beyond “squeeze your abs.” You’ll learn how your core is layered, how to engage it with precision, and why pelvic stability is the key to safe, effective movement in Pilates (and life).

Day 4:  Move with Strength, Clarity, and Confidence

Bring it all together with a full-body flow that blends breath, rotation, control and true core activation. This is where it clicks. This is where you begin to own your Pilates practice.

What Makes The Core Start Challenge Different?

Most “beginner” classes expect you to follow along before you even understand what you're doing.

This challenge slows things down, on purpose.
You'll learn the core principles that make Pilates effective, and then solidify them through key beginner exercises that feel good and make sense in your body.

Here’s what makes it different:

✅ Not just movement: real learning
✅ Not fast-paced or overwhelming
✅ Expert guidance in real-time with feedback and support
✅ Designed for bodies 45+ with clarity, not pressure
✅ A safe, smart starting point with no experience needed
